What a great weekend

We planned a trip to White Pines but then decided on Shabbona but at the last minute decided on a forgotten campground in Momence called Lake Alexandria. I stayed there during the summer of 2012 working for Dumas and Rad Rides. It's a quiet un-maintained older family owned campground.

Krystal and Josh met us there for some campfire cooking and hobo coffee 

(coffee maker didn't survive the trip) 

Did some fishing, first time in 30 years. Caught a couple of smallmouth bass, a couple of largemouth bass and a channel cat, all at night.

Bodyshop flames

I'm never satisfied when I do flames, 

I feel there always lacking something and that's why I call them bodyshop flames. 

I based it all in black metallic and then laid out some simple silver flames and then covered it all in 3 coats of candy blue.

Flakey Kandy Root Beer

Bodyworked, this little tank for a customer and all he said was flat and glossy it's all yours. 

I laid out glossy kandy rootbeer scallops with some extra flake then satin black the rest and laid some simple lines. 

I liked it, better yet he loved it! 

This was fun, I need to be doing more of this stuff
