Surprise Surprise we have a newling in the barn

Well we weren't really ready for our surprise we thought we had about two weeks out but Melissa went in to check on our goats and found this little girl....

We are excited, Jelly Bean has been the most loving mom and has made this so enjoyable and care free.

20 out of 33

Today marks my 20th radiation treatment. That leaves me with 13 to go! 

This past weekend was an enjoyable experience, we had daughters and grandkids out for a visit and the goats were in rare form. 

Gotta tell you with everything that has been going on this was a wonderful break from it all.

My reaction to the treatments has been a little rough this past weekend but this was the best medicine for me. 

Live life, enjoy life and be humble because you have no idea what the other person is going through.

As always I'm up way to early but what a beautiful start to a great day!

Watching this unfold in front of me is so peaceful and relaxing, it clears my mind from all that is currently going on.

long weekend

9/26/2019 

Well that was a long weekend from totaling the van to repairing major electrical issues to having to fill the Air Mattress 4 times in one night. We some progress, finished cleaning the shop and started on the barn

We Bought the Farm

We have had a dream for quite a long time of owning a piece of property growing the majority of our food and just enjoying life. In June some things happen they found several tumors one of my long and one of my neck and on July 25th I had the one of my lung removed, this changed my whole attitude towards life it made me realize how short it could be and with that most and I made a decision to push forward with our dream we started looking for property. We checked out several places out of state then realize that we would really miss our children and our grandkids so we started looking a little closer and we found property in Indiana and fell in love with it. We bought the farm! So follow along as I post how we remodel cleanup and make it our own.
