8/7/2010 Saturday

So I had a short visit with my Grandson this morning,

Dena's car had been making some noises from the rear brakes and I left out early this morning with the tow truck and headed up to
pick it up.

It was a long drive in the tow truck, no cruise control, bouncy and load but well worth it, I feel good being able to help out.

It seems to be this type of weekend anyway, Jamie's car is at the shop also getting some much needed work done. I am grateful to be able to do this for our girls not being able to hand out cash, if I had it I would but we do not.
So we head out Sunday to deliver Dena's car back and to get our Garrett fix, I really want to be closer and this is something to think about.

8/04/2010 The Maverick

I was able to get the Jams in color today and assemble the front. I'm going to push to get it in color by the weekend. Herb needs his Maverick and I need it finished so I can start on my Falcon Wagon.
Melissa choose a 2009 Mazda Color, Winning Blue. Its not to dark or to light. Hope he likes it!
8/6/2010 Got some color on today
Final assembly and a hole lot of cleaning next.

August 1 2010 Baby Garrett Fix

Melissa and I loaded up the RV and headed north with TJ, she loves to travel.

Our intentions were to stop at Illinois State Beach and camp for the night on Saturday and then head over to Dena & Garretts to spend Sunday afternoon with them and our Grandson. We arrived at the beach and were not impressed or thrilled with the camp grounds. They were crowded, load and not to clean so we decided to head north and Melissa located Meadowlark Acres Family Campgrounds just outside of Burlington Wisconsin. We arrived there late afternoon after touring the countryside due to every road being either closed or under construction. It was quit, clean and just relaxing. I took TJ for a walk.

I got to swim for a little and we had a great dinner cooked over the fire.
Got up early Sunday and TJ and I checked the place out.
We will definitely be back to spend more time here, I really enjoyed how peaceful it was.

Sunday was great, Nikki drove up and met us at Dena's house, we sat around made dinner and enjoyed the day with Family.

Gotta Love Him!
