We had a break between the GNRS and Street Rodders photo shoot so I un-hooked the trailer and took a ride with Melissa up into the mountains. Along the way we stopped at a local farmers stand for some strawberrys and oranges, Yum!

GNRS 2013
The last month Rad Rides by Troy has had Scott's 32 Plymouth (Moxie) repairing other shops build issues. The decision was made to go to the Grand National Roadster Show and I help finish up the work, organized the trailer, detailed Moxie and loaded up and hit the road last Saturday. The trip was uneventful, I decided to drive the southern route down thru Texas, Arizona, New Mexico and into California. I arrived a day early and stopped in Huntington Beach to visit some good friends Trace and Liz. Trace gave me a much needed hand with setup on Wednesday.

Moxie
Getting Moxie ready for GNRS
Scott had taken Moxie into Rad Rides for some repair work and turned it into a redo of sorts. Much of the work needed to be done to correct a lot of issues.
California here we come!

Thanksgiving 2012
Taking the morning chill out of the air
TJ just laying around her condo on wheels Hillbilly bushing press, ya make due with whatcha got The King of the Hill Melissa's PT cruisers trans case Melissa's old and new gears
We made the trip south to Senatobia Mississippi for Thanksgiving. Melissa's pt cruiser had been down here for Herb to fix a bad vibration but he wasn't able to remove the engine craddle due to good ol Illinois rust. I had to cut some of the cowl open to access spinning lock bolts to remove it. I installed a new ring and pinion along with rebuilt axles and control arm bushings. Thanksgiving dinner was Awsome as usual and it was great to visit with distant family. I wasn't able to hunt this time, maybe we will come down for Christmas and I get some time then.

Slip Roller - Brake - Shear
Picked up this 3 in 1 combo unit from a good friend. He was offered a job in Texas and wasn't going to drag this along so he let me have it for a decent price along with a disk-belt sander. Just in time for me to do floor pans in the Falcon wagon.
