I trailered Moxie to GoodGuys Indy for scott & Jane and to our surprise Moxie was picked to compete for Hot rod of the Year with about 40 other nice vehicles. Hot Rod of the Year Competition began on Friday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum.
We took a road trip to a Summer Place and then on to an 1/8 mile drag strip at Muncie Dragway and did all this in the rain, it let up at the drag strip to get some passes in. Scott did not hold back doing a John Force style burnout and then running and beating dave Lane with George Poteet's 34 ford!
Then it poured rain and Moxie didn't skip a beat even with open stacks. saturday and sunday turned out to be picture perfect days, Moxie didn't win hot rod of the year but was one of the 5 finalist and she showed well. Friday's drive was the icing on the cake!
