Simple Stuff 11-10-2010

Just finished these panels for a good Friend, nothing crazy. I used a Mini color as the base (Mellow Yellow) and two coats of fine white pearl, the graphics were color matched to the seat and then I gave all the pieces a generous coating of clear.

I love this stuff!

Composting with Jamie 11-01-2010

Jamie was over for Sunday dinner and shot these videos of her and I composting.

I think she had here thumb over the Mic on her phone

It was kinda cool to be able to show her and explain what we are doing and why we are composting.

White Pines 10-31-2010

The beauty in this park just blows me away, every time we come out here its never boring, I'm always finding new trails to walk with TJ. We were up early Sunday morning and came across this old fireplace that looked to be part of a cabin and was the only remains still standing. In the 6 or 7 years that we have been coming out here, it amazes me what I find.

Our Campsite

I started a fire to get some hot embers going to cook dinner for the night and to provide a little warmth to cut the chill out of the air.

We stopped at a little farm up the road and bought some squash and potatoes, the steaks came from home. You can't believe the flavor of the food when its cook on a open fire. Its my highlight of the weekend and one of the many reasons we come out and camp or as some people say (RVing).

10/05/10 The Hot Rod Frig

This is one of nine recycled frig's given to selected artist commissioned by Common Wealth Edison. It was on display in Chicago on Michigan Ave. VooDoo Larry Customs was one of the selected artist to give the frig a new look.

While on display vandals decided to give it a custom top by caving it in.

 The roof was the base colored green with lots of flake. I then laid out scallops
